More model informationThis artifact is a piece of a stockade post. It’s a wooden fragment from the larger whole of the stockade post. It’s small enough to fit in a person’s hand. The stockade post was a part of the wall which went around the fort. It was up from around 1829-1860. The artifact would have been used mainly for protection because it was part of a wall which went around the fort.
