Found in my garden, this flint nodule has been worked to chip off flakes of flint for tools and blades. You can see the dark areas along the edges where it has been struck hard and a chip of flint broken off. This leaves behind a characteristic “percussion” mark, a sort of scallop with concentric rings across the surface. This stone has been hit several times along its edges, some of these have removed large pieces resulting in the underside being more severely fractured. I have some other chippings and flakes also found in my garden suggesting some activity or hunting camp in the area.
As for 3D photogrammetry, this is my first published image. I have done four more versions of this before hand, but felt this was the only one half suitable for publishing.
