A demogorgon is a deity or demon, associated with the underworld and envisaged as a powerful primordial being, whose very name had been taboo. Although often ascribed to Greek mythology, the name probably arises from an unknown copyist’s misreading of a commentary by a fourth-century scholar, Lactantius Placidus.

This particular one was 3D-scanned with a 2 camera, cross-polarized rig. Retopologized and cleaned in ZBrush. Included in the purchased model are 8K PBR texture maps made with Photoshop, including albedo, roughness and normal.

I plan to also create a rigged version of this model with some built-in animations and poses.
