Developed and published by Capcom in 1989, Strider is a futuristic hack and slash platforming game set in the year 2048. Armed with a plasma sword, you scale buildings, fight gigantic robot gorillas, and travel through 5 stages in order to defeat the “Grandmaster” who is seeking to take over the world.

This model shows the very start of the game in the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, which is today known as Kazakhstan. I’ve always loved this game’s art style.
