More model informationInterpreted as a Neolithic “strike-a-light”, which is a type of fire-making tool. This specific type of strike-a-light, with its unique pointed form, is typical to the Alvastra pile dwelling and found in abundance at the site. This specimen was found during Mats Malmer’s excavations in 1977. The rock used to make this tool is a form of leptite-porphyry.
