String-lug vessel

The ovoid vessel has string-lugs and is painted with lines and zig-zags. Two so.called “Naqada plants” are depicted on the front and back. On the bottom a spiral pattern is visible. These vessels were often used as a burial goods. This vessel dates into the Naqada-IIc period, around 3.200 BCE.

This model was processed with the Structure from Motion technique provided by Agisoft Photoscan. The images were taken with the kind permission of the Egyptology department of the University of Cologne.
