A brown suitcase used for travel by a Barbadian. On one side of the item is a sticker with the acronym B.O.A.C, which stands for British Overseas Airways Corporation. This was the British state-owned airline created in 1939 by the merger of Imperial Airways and British Airways Ltd. It continued operating overseas services throughout World War II. It would eventually merge with the British European Airways (B.E.A) to become in 1971 the British Airways, which has been active to this day.
