A Sumur ESP (Electric Submersible Pump Well) is an artificial lift system used to boost oil production when natural reservoir pressure is low. It uses an Electric Submersible Pump (ESP), which is installed deep inside the well and powered by an electric motor. The ESP draws oil from the reservoir and pushes it to the surface through tubing, using multiple pump stages to increase pressure. This system is ideal for high-volume oil production, deep wells, and fluids with water content.
