More model informationI made this 3D model based on a spinning pixel art image by Jon Davies.
I really liked the composition, color, and creativity of his work, so I wanted to bring it to life in a way you can rotate and explore. I tried to stay as true to the original as I could.
At first, I was going to recreate the pixel art style using voxels, like I did in my previous Satoshi Nakamoto piece. But as I worked on it, I ended up liking this version better, where the pixel art style is in the texture, not the model. It’s easier and looks better for web viewing.
If this were for 3D printing or a physical display, a voxel model would be more appropriate. I hope this 3D model captures the inspiration I got from the original and that you enjoy it. Have a great day!
