This stone box used to contain the body of Yamnaya culture 25 years old man. Radiocarbon analysis returned the date of 2800—2600 calBC. Placed on the Earth surface box is very unusual type of burial construction for Yamnaya culture.This culture representatives usually constructed a tumuli to bury their dead. Stones, taken from unique rock art complex of Kamyana Mohyla (that is located nearby) possibly indicate high social level of a man.
The box was found nearby Kamyana Mohyla during 2017 field season. Construction was left for further museification. For now 3D-model, that was made after the excavation process is the only metrical data concerning the box available.
