3D model of a tree whose roots are holding on fragile soil sediments that are affected by gradual soil erosion. This 3D model was created within Crvene Rivine badlands, close to Zadar (Croatia), using the Faro Focus M70 terrestrial LiDAR scanner.
Although remaining soil deposits within this badland site are seriously endangered by ongoing intensive soil erosion processes, some vegetation manages to survive, thus protecting the nearby soil deposits by its roots.
