Native American textile knon as the Swennes Woven Nettle Bag. This well preserved Native American Textile was recovered from 47Lc84, a rockshelter in La Crosse County, Wisconsin by property owners John and Otto Swennes. The bag was found in association with Oneota Culture ceramics and is most likely prehistoric in date, although it could be early historic period. The bag is made using fibers from nettles.
