Efreets are lesser elemental demons. They do not belong to the natural world, however their existence in the Talon Coast area is confirmed, and rumored to be due to the arcane arts of several powerful wizards, necromancers and summoners.

The fate of most of the evokers dabbling with the summoning of these creatures is an orrible death: Efreets, while often considered just as powerful servants, really have a single purpose… to prevail on their master, to break the summoning fetters and become free to wander our material plane.
