Creature Bio
Habitat – Rocky outcrops at high altitudes Diet - Omnivore Characteristics - Highly specialized, Intelligent, Social Physical traits – 8 limbs, Hard and soft exoskeleton, efficient lungs for filtering air at high altitudes, 5 -7 ft tall
Social creatures that live in groups. Sites can be occupied by many adults who all work cohesively to protect and care for eggs and young. The babies are born as larvae and through metamorphosis, the young cocoon themselves before emerging out into their adult body type.
Their vocals are shrill and their language is highly complicated, however to the untrained ear it sounds mostly like clicks and screeches. They also communicate by other means, when brushing tendrils they exchange memories and thoughts. They are equipped with a large stinger and sharp blades to hunt prey. Because their arms are not suited to feeding themselves the tendrils on their jaws help move food into their mouths. They also love collecting flowers and plants to decorate their homes.
