Synophrys hopei - London Clay Fossil Fish

This is a 3D scan of a rare fossil fish from the London Clay of the Isle of Sheppey - Synophrys hopei. Based on the shape of the skull this represent a Serranidae-type fish similar to modern Sea Bass. This was found by Marie Jones in 2024.
