This is an old American field telephone developed in the United States around 1890, but was, at the time, too expensive for mass production. By the time of the First World War they were used in great amounts. The devices itself are connected with a wire line. These wires were layed down by running soldiers who had a huge cable roll on their back.
This model was made for my final Game Asset Pipeline assignement. I used the proboolean dynamesh workflow for most parts (using 3ds Max and ZBrush). This was a bit weird at first but I think I’ve kinda gotten the hang of it :)
