More model informationFinal Project for my first year at university, to creat a medieval character in our likeness. Really enjoyed this project, feel it was a bit rushed at the end with edditing textures and creating normal maps - but learnt an awefull lot about characters, rigging and basic animation. Would have liked more time to sort out the moddel skinning as aware it cuts a bit in various places with the animation - but think from that, I’ve learnt to be more detailed with my topology to better suit rigging with future characters. We were allowed a budget of 8,000 tris and then a further 500 for the plynth and props with 2x 1024 texture sheets - and I used another 1024 for the props (sissors and needle)
