淡水紅樓 Tamsui Red Castle

淡水紅樓，1899年由船商李貽和興建為宅邸，1913年轉賣給淡水街長洪以南，1963年再轉手魚丸商洪炳堅、洪許俸夫婦。1989年洪家拒絕拆除改建紅樓，2000年整修完成，轉為商業使用，一、二樓為中餐廳，三樓為西餐廳。

Tamsui Red Castle was built by a shipping merchant Li Yi-He (李貽和) in 1899 as residence. At 1913 the residence was sold to Hong Yi-Nan (洪以南), the Mayor of Tamsui by the time, and then at 1963 sold again to Hong Bing-Jian (洪炳堅) and Hong Xu-Feng (洪許俸), who were doing fish ball business. At 1989, the Hong family refused to tear down the residence, and then they finished repairment at 2000. Now at the first and the second floor is a Chinese restaurant, and at the third floor is a western restaurant.
