The hulks of two Landing Craft, Tank, Mk 4. Also remains of a smaller Landing Barge, Vehicle. Abandoned at the mouth of the Port of Poole Marina to create a cheap breakwater after the Second World War, they are due to be destroyed in the coming years to make way for new harbour developments.

The forward landing craft, LCT 728, was photographed with the markings of the Third Division, suggesting a D-Day veteran vessel. As far as I am aware, there are no other LCT Mk 4 left above water anywhere else.

Model created as part of an MSc dissertation. Low-res for upload limitiations.
