The statuette was found in 1912 in the legionary camp of Carnuntum. It shows a boy of black African descent. Head and upper body are tilted to the side, the angled arms raised. The boy stands on the left leg, the right is raised and heavily bent. The body movement suggests an Isis dancer. Dances with grotesque contortions were among the cult rituals of this mystery cult of Egyptian origin. Bronze with silver and copper inlays; 10,3 cm
