I’m currently working on layout, modeling, texturing and more for a virtual painting exhibition; “One From Us Has Gone”. In efforts to cut down on the size of the project files I have taken the approach of texturing some pieces to create the illusion of a model.
This tapestry is a 1x1 polygon with a base color/diffuse color, a matte for visibility and a normal map for fun/ lighting. Since the model won’t be viewed at an angle in the show (and is mostly flat) I didn’t worry about making the form three dimentional. The textures were mainly created in Photoshop and Substance Alchemist was used for creating the initial normal map.
Hope you enjoy it! The artwork is created by Sarah Posey as a part of her Virtual Painting Exhibition; “One From Us Has Gone”. Learn more about her work and show at https://www.sarahposeyart.com/
