I ended up deciding to do a brazillian dessert for the #LowPolyDessertChallenge, and this is my Tapioca! Made from cassava starch, tapioca is pretty simple and traditional dish to prepare and all you need (aside from the cassava starch) to make it is a really hot frying pan. You can make it with all different kinds of fillings, either salty or sweet, and my personal favorite are the tapiocas loaded with TONS of butter! Every now and then I also like to eat the sweet ones with some fruit (mainly strawberries and banana slices) and lots of chocolate!
My personal challenge was trying to keep the model under a total of 5k tris and do handpainted textures this time, as it’s something I haven’t tried to do in a while and have little experience in. I hope you all like the end result and that someday you get the chance to try a true brazillian tapioquinha!
