The 3D model is based on the wonderful concept by Cinthia Marsana (https://www.artstation.com/mc-art). Make sure to check out her gorgeous work! With this being a slightly smaller personal project, I wanted to as stay as close to the original concept as possible but still experiment a little bit with the texturing part. When it comes to the background, I wanted to add some contrast but didn’t want the background to be completely dark. Looking at it now, it has a lot of similarities to Curlscurly’s food studies and therefore it’s definitely necessary to mention her as influence and inspiration as well because I’ve been in awe of her work for quite some time now and it definitely shows!
