Dolmen located next to an unmetalled road in Cavorca’s creek valley, Gavarres Massif (Forallac, Girona, Spain). It is a megalithic sepulture considered within ‘small Catalan gallery’ type-class and dated in the 3rd millennia BC.

Orientation: the head of the ‘sepulcral chamber’ is oriented to the UTM North while the ‘corridor’ looks to the South (approx. axis 0-180º). Location coordinates: 505497E, 4639951N, 182 masl (UTM, 31N, ETRS89).

Approximate dimensions: original remains are 6.5 m long and 3.2 m width (North-South and West-East axis, respectively); reconstructed area of the mound during 2014 fieldwork measures 0.5 m.

Further information: excavated and reconstructed without foreign nor intrusive materials by GRAMPO (former SAPPO) research group from Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) between the years 2012 and 2014; digital recording and 3D modelling by Camilo Barcia-García.
