More model informationThis is the ruin of a small chapel dedicated to St Michael on the western headland south of Kallin on Grimsay. The only substantial wall is the eastern one - the other walls are clearly discernable as ridges and some exposed masonry at ground level. There is an overall scatter of tumbled stones across the site. The foundation of the chapel is attributed to Amie MacRuari (c.1350-90). The chapel building is surrounded be an outer wall, only barely discernable, likely to have been used as a cemetary in the past.
A one-metre range pole is inside the chapel, aligned N-S with red to north.
