The three-dimensional Nile silt clay model designated F0001/ SCA973, from Tell El-Ghaba, represents a horse with a rider. The piece is executed in fine, well-levigated clay, moulded by hand into a compact volumetric form. Legs and part of the body of a rider on the back of the horse are present. Its surfaces exhibit traces of smoothing, suggesting intentional finishing, although minor irregularities remain visible, consistent with artisanal rather than mass-produced manufacture.
