At Bysjön’s shore in Åtvidaberg stands a round temple in antique style. It was completed in 1809 and was the first of the buildings erected in Adelsnäs park complex during the 19th century. Near the temple was a castle that was added in the 1820s and about thirty years later Seth Adelswärd had a cannon tower erected with a solar cannon which is still in use. But the game hunting vessel, a fixed ship that was outside the castle and from where you could shoot fireworks, and the Turkish gazebo that was on Helena island, are long gone.
