Slip-painted ware, possibly dated to the 9th-10th centuries CE; wheel-thrown hemispherical bowl, with simple rounded rim, the ring base has a straight outer profile; the white slip and the transparent colourless glaze cover the inner surface and the rim exclusively. The underglaze polychrome decoration is a very fine slip-painting in black, red and green, and it consists of: a main central zoomorphic motif, covering the inner bottom completely, in the shape of a stylised crane-like bird painted in black; all around the main motif, there are black and red painted V-shaped motifs and U-shaped strokes with small horizontal segments above, along with green dots; on the inner surface, just below the rim, there is an intertwined pattern painted in black.
