Brass statuette from Thailand. My auntie Putchara is from Thailand, so they brought this piece to UK, and there they gave it to my father as a present, a lot of years ago (maybe 20 years ago). This statue represents a male guardian angel. Read more about Thepanom here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thepanom. The main characteristic is that this 35cms-statuette “pesa un huevo” (literally “weighs an egg”, or more formal “weighs a ton”, hahaha). Seriously, it’s very, very, very heavy. It might be used as lethal weapon.
