Seven years since the Sorghum (Sudan grass) crises
Today we commemorate our brave botanists and garden workers who sacrificed their lives seven years ago in the aftermath of the infamous 2028 Sorghum poisonous grass (Sudan grass) infestation. 153000 botanists and garden workers perished in the fight along with over nine million victims across the world.
The infestation, which officially declared ended in the summer of 2035 claimed more lives than any infestation in history as nations took this crisess as a dire warning for a more seriouse environmental action and prompted the establishment of the worlds first environmental agreement “the renmar accord”, which was named after the late botanist Dr. Renmar siega who discovered the chemical componant (FGS) to fight the poisonous grass crises.
