More model informationThis factory building was constructed by the city of Baltimore in the early 1890s as a refuse incinerator. Over the years, the space has been used for broom manufacturing, as an event space, a recording studio, general store, and most recently a distillery. The graffitied roof monitor with clerestory windows catches the eye of passengers exiting I-83 into the Remington neighborhood. A local development company is pushing to acquire the site and possibly turn it into a high-end grocery store.
