The Chief's Regalia - Secwepemc Museum 3D Model
The Chief’s Regalia of the Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park
The Chief’s Regalia was made by Dr. Mary Thomas in the 1990’s for the Secwepemc Museum. This consists of a buckskin tunic, leggings and beaver hide breech cloth. The bird designs on the front are made from porcupine quills embroidered into the fabric; these were dyed red and blue. Other decorations include bear claws and fringing. The beads, bells, and piping reflect contact with early European traders.
