The columns of Imawarì Yeuta - 2

During our last expedition in Venezuela (http://www.laventa.it/en/blog/597-the-expedition-tepui-2016-is-over-but-the-dream-continues) we have realized a 3D survey with a laser scanner of some of the most interesting parts of Imawarì Yeuta, the largest quarzite cave of the world. Using a Leica HDS 7000 laser scanner provided the company GST Gruppo Servizi Topografiici and the software 3D Resheaper to mesh the point clouds obtained it was possible to reconstruct the surfaces detected with high resolution and accuracy!
