The Dragon of KomodoYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
This ancient creature is the largest living lizard species. Growing to a maximum 3 metres (~9,8 feet) and weighing up to approximately 70-90 kilograms (~150 lbs). It has no natural enemy, so he is a top predator. Komodo dragon skin is reinforced by armored scales. The claws are used primarily as weapons. Its skull is elongated and they have a powerful jaw with more than 60 teeth. Its bite is poisonous and deadly. Often its prey can escape but the victim dies within a few days of blood-poisoning. This perfect predator waits patiently.
Special Thanks to the Hungarian Natural History Museum for giving me the opportunity to take photos.
Reconstructed from 700 pictures - 150-200 would have been enough, but I really liked the skin texture, so I scanned the whole body with macro lens. The final reconstructed model contained more than 540 million tris (simplified to 1,4M).
The model had no post-editing. Uploaded directly from CR
Hope you like it :)
