The End Portal

Tracked this down for the first time, thousands of blocks away from my bases and I have no more Eyes of Ender left, so have to decide whether to create a new base here, make a nether portal etc and gather what I need; or hoof it back to ‘civilisation’, regroup and come back :/

To be entirely fair, I created this model to cheat and see exacly where the Stronghold was, I didn’t really know what to expect, broke my last Eye of Ender when I was well underground and didn’t see what direction it went in. I was surpised to see the libraries etc and asked my son if the End Portal had cobwebby libraries near it, which he confirmed. I only just spotted the portal itself serendipitously sticking out of the model’s edge when I was casually finishing up peering around searching for it, seemingly without much luck :D

In retrospect, looking back at the structure of the Stonghold, the portal room looks pretty obvious, but I hadn’t found it ¯_(ツ)_/¯
