More model informationRochester Cathedral North Quire Transept door and doorway c.1200 with reused C11th wood and ironwork. A portion of the door was dendrochronologically (tree-ring) dated to the 1080s, contemporary with Gundulf’s Early Norman cathedral. The elaborate ironwork is in the shape of the cross of Saint Andrew, to whom Rochester’s medieval priory was dedicated.
