I recently played through The Legend Of Zelda for the NES and I really enjoyed it!
I saw these centaur enemies and I loved how stumpy their bodies were, even their weird lizardy tail. They’re incredibly difficult to deal with early on in the game, and they shoot magic sword projectiles which do a lot of damage. It turns out that while they look like centaurs, they’re depicted as more lion-like in other games, which makes them a bit more unique.
I may animate this guy further on down the line, but for now enjoy this pose. Read some of my thoughts during the process on my tumblr.
Edit: I’ve given it a walk
