The main panel of Archeï VII - CRGB colour space3D Model
By comparison with the major sites of the SE sector of the Ennedi Highland (Chad), Archeï VII stands out for the recognized presence of some motifs that were related to the “Niola Doa culture” from the very first moment of their discovery (Faleschini et al. 1994). In particular, to the extreme left of the panel, it is possible to note an outstanding couple constituted by one figure wearing a skirt and one figure wearing only body accessories and decorations. These two figures share many of the most distinctive iconographic features characterizing the Niola Doa engraved humans in their core area, namely Wadi Guirchi, 150 km to the north-east of Archeï VII (texture processed by DStretch_CRGB).
