The spatial documentation of Kilwa Kisiwani took place between 2005 and 2009 during 4 field campaigns. The following structures were spatially documented: Gereza Fort, Great Mosque, Husuni Kubwa, Makutani Building, Malindi Mosque. Over 1200 terrestrial laser-scans were captured.
