The Morning Room

Welcome to The Hallwyl Museum in Stockholm, Sweden.

Once the home of Walther and Wilhelmina von Hallwyl.

In this room Wilhelmina received callers and attended to her correspondence, something that was an important part of a family’s networking.

It was common to display family portraits in this type of room. There are portraits of the Hallwyl daughters, great grandchildren and sons-in-law.

The Morning Room was one of the reception rooms that were used daily, along with the Dining Room and the Smoking Room (link coming soon).

The images for this project were captured using an array of four Panasonic Lumix GX8 cameras.
