More model informationConcept park located on the Portland Wharf site in Louisville, Kentucky. Follys created from warped old steamboat boards, and decorative iron as if from a crashed boat is arranged and melted over cast iron driftwood (made from molds taken off site) Bricks from the original streets that are scattered throughout the area can be made into walking paths for when the flood makes things muddy at the park, and a small fire pit is nestled inside the sculptural arrangment seating area. Many people have small fires at the park, and this will make things a little safer. Lettering from old boats will be detailed on the surfaces of the slumoed concrete board panels, creating a rich texture and commenting on the wharfs past.
