The rock complex in Pidkamin has a long tradition of human usage, starting from the Bronze Age right up to the present day. Thanks to archaeological research, we have discovered the remains of the material culture of the population of the so-called Vysotska culture ( around 1300 BC), traces of ancient Slavs from the 8th and 9th centuries, as well as artifacts from the period of Kyivan Rus (11-13 centuries). By the 17th century, a cemetery appeared here, where local residents of Pidkamin were buried. There are traces of wooden structures on the cliff itself, indicating the presence of a building that once stood on top of this impressive natural formation.
