The Mogadishu Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Mogadishu, Somalia. When still operational, it served as the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mogadiscio. Built in 1928 by Italian colonial authorities, the much of the building was destroyed in 2008.
This is part of an ongoing project looking at some of the most important buildings in Mogadishu. These buildings stood still during the war and have now turned into some of the buildings have now turned into well-known ruins within the city.
