This shipwreck image is of a fantail launch discovered in 2016 with side scan sonar by Tim Downing in Lake Ontario. The documentation of this wreck and the 3-D image work was completed by Tim Caza and Dennis Gerber In May of 2021.

The true name of this fantail launch is not known. We have named this wreck the Rumrunner due to the fact that it has hundreds of bottles in it buried beneath the mud that date back to prohibition days. For more shipwreck discoveries go to https://sonarguy.com
