The sculpture “The Money Toad”, locate near the Museum of Water in Khreshchaty and Mariinsky parks. It weighs 6 tons and has several faces - in the mouth and on the back. A bronze toad with coins under its paws is a symbol of material well-being. There is a belief that she grants wishes. To attract prosperity tourists need to touch the nose in the frog’s mouth and throw a coin into the slot in the mouth. There is a legend that when the bucket overflows, the mechanism will work and someone will hit the jackpot. The monument has been digitized as a part of the project #StandbyUkraine for saving and defend Ukrainian heritage of TOP PROJECT company.
