The Three Hundred Towers Castles / S.X / Spain
“Ramón Muntaner (1265-1336), Catalan knight and writer, in his “Chronicle” referred metaphorically to the Castle of Onda and its fortified villa as “the Three Hundred Towers Castle”. Apparently, in its full glory the Castle exhibited as many towers as days in the year.
On the trail of the ancient Iberian and Roman cultures, Muslims built an extraordinary fortress in the 10th century. His castle still watches over the city.”
