More model informationThe Critique, in progress, version of my first World War II themed project. The Tiger is one of the most iconic vehicles of the second World War, as well as one of the most feared. American Sherman crews couldn’t hope to match the durability or sheer firepower that the Tiger boasted with its 88mm gun. The Sherman 75mm guns were far too weak to penetrate its frontal armor, giving Sherman crews very little options in an open engagement. Often the only way to deal with a Tiger was to get behind it and fire into much thinner rear armor, and this was often not even worth the risk as it would take multiple Shermans to get the job done.
