More model informationThe Tulsamerican was the last Consolidated B-24 J Liberator bomber built at Douglas in Tulsa, Oklahoma (July 1944). In December 17th, 1944 it crashed into the water near the island of Vis, Croatia. The wreck was found in 2009 and now is under the protection of the Croatian Government. Diving is permitted only through authorised diving centres. The depth is around 40m.
