The Tulsamerican, tail section site at 52m 3D Model
The images for this model were aquired from a particular pattern in order to make a 2D bird’s eye view site map. The holes are obvious once you begin to move around the model, but the context of where the aircraft is in relation to the two vertical stabilizers, the debris, and the propellor are important.
The Tulsamerican is a WWII B-24 bomber aircraft, lost near the island of Vis, Croatia on Dedember 17,1944. This model was made as part of the 2015 joint TAMU/INA/Croatian Conservation Institute archaeological survey on the two major portions of the wreck site.
