The Urnes Stave Church3D ModelNoAI
The Urnes stave church sits nestled in one of Norway’s most spectacular valleys. Before the 19th century there were over 1000 stave churches. Today there are only 25. 24 in Norway, and one that was moved to Poland. (Vang Stave Church - Wikipedia)
The church has a distinctive appearance, with the pointed spire of the bell tower, steeply sloping tar-covered wood roof and undulating walls made of staves – upright planks. The bright yellow southern wall catches the summer sun, but hiding in the north is the doorway this church is most famous for.
